Donate a Book! Program
Consider donating a copy of Where are the Footnotes? A Guide for the Non-traditional Female CollegeStudent to an individual, business, or to an institution. If you do not know of a particular person or place to donate to, then purchase a book and it will be donated for you. The recipient will receive a copy of the book along with a card containing your name or you may donate anonymously. You will receive a thank-you card from American Em. Press which will indicate the name and address of where your donation was made. Below are some suggestions:

• The Counseling Department of a High School, Two or Four Year College, Career College, or Technical School


• Human Resource Department of a Plant or Business Scheduled for Closure 




• A First Generation College Student, An Older First-Time Student, or Student Returning after an Extended Absence 


• Recovery Home or Halfway House 


• A Young Mother or Home for Pregnant Teens 


• Husbands, Single, Widowed, and Stay-at-Home Fathers 


• Economically Disadvantaged Women 


• Homeschooled Students with No Classroom Exposure
